Welcome To Story Ledge

Words. Big words. Small words. Scary words. Happy words. Words that make you cry. Words that make your heart sing. Words that make you move the mountains. Words that make you duck your head in shame. I would string all those words together like a necklace. I would twist and turn them to create intricate patterns. I would carefully spread them across the table to spot a perfect combination. I would hang my verbal jewels outside so that the sunlight could bounce off them in a wild solar dance. The wind would sway them back and forth in a playful manner, and they would emit melodic trills attracting passers-by. Some would nod to the rhythm, some would shrug indifferently, and some would stop, charmed both by the look and the sound, intrigued by enchanting design, wanting to see, feel, and hear more.
Have a seat on the ledge where we could all play with words and weave them into a story. It’s a story ledge.

Great job Lana! I will definitely pass this on. I especially love the Mark Twain quote! I have always lived by that motto because I never wanted to look back on my life and ask “what if?” At least I know I had the courage to follow my dreams, just as you have!
